hey you people out there! i was wondering if anyone can help me ive just bought my son a new 50 cc diablo automatic mini dirt bike for his 10th birthday, he has only ridden it twice and have now noticed that petrol is pouring out of the overflow tube underneath the bike,i understand that this is supposed to drip out the excess petrol but this is pouring out as fast as i can put it in, i have sent a message to the dealers who i bought it of but they are unable to answer my questions can you please help yours faithfully angry dad!ha ha! na not really!just bumbed out for my son thanx

on the carby at the bottom theres a bowl, where the hose connects there is a screw,

make sure the screw is in there first,

than it should be done up tight (dont strip it, just nip it up)

p.s. if thats your address youve put in your user account, i suggest you remove hey mate!! well thats my thoughts anyway

ya mean the crusty black ones???? i bent the original ones and using these till i find somewhere to buy new ones,

hope thats what your talking about ahaha

hey. your float is stuck up and you need to take the bowl off and clean it. It happenes heaps with the cheap 49cc cag bikes. also watch for your clutch it will ware out and you will need to get a new one soon

no, its not the bowl screw, the float gets stuck and it just lets fuel go out the over flow pipe. smash your bike up and down and if that doesnt fix it take it off and clean it.

I would have to say that u should do as the others have suggested, check the drain screw at the bottom near where the overflow hose is, if that doesn't help it is def the needle attached to the float, all it takes is 1 grain of sand and the needle won't seal (seat) properly.
Take the carby apart, then just pull out the pin that holds the float in place, (I suggest u do this over a clean work bench as if u drop the pin or needle ur stuffed, as they are small and can just disappear) the float has a small piece of wire attached to it which opens and closes the needle to allow the fuel to enter the bowl.
Take the needle out and give it the once over, if there is anything at all on the end with the rubber seal (shaped like a V) clean it, clean it anyway!!!
Do the reverse to put back together, everything should be sweet. if not, Ya got me stuffed......
