rim strip/ rim tape...stops any sharp spoke ends etc from puncturing yor tube...at a pinch, a few layers of electrical tape will do the job.... and just about any moto shop should have them.

yer but with tape it can be dangerous lol i have done it and its slid side ways and done 2 tubes go buy 1

Tape is 1000 times better than rim bands , Rim bands make life a pain when Lining up the valve.

Just use tape.

why not use a rimtape AND tape tape...(duct or Gaffa) poke a hole thru where the valve is and hey presto, you got a Heavy Duty version
