Hi there I've been riding bikes for a few yrs now. And have just upgraded the miss's from a 125cc quad to an Atomik nitrous 140cc midsize (bad choice as she is a very petite girl) and this will be her 1st bike. It is a little bigger than I expected and has plenty more power that I thought it would is there a way to reduce the power to say 50 or 60% or the top speed down to about the same. I've heard of restricting the butterfly in the carbi or making it so the accelerator can only be pulled back to about 50% . Please someone help I'm dying to go away riding but need to get her bike safe for her to ride before I do.

Buy a 19mm carby mate, less fuel less power. or you could get here a thumb operated throttle like the quad had so you can restrict the throttle, or organise to swap the 140 for a 110cc on here or just buy a 110cc and change it back when she is more confident.

ive got a good 110 im keen to swap:hideing_behind_comp:bolt: lol

not sure but would a 19mm carb just lean it right out?

yeah i would say rip the 140cc out of it sell it and buy a 125 to chuck in

woudnt a throttle from like a PW50 or DS50 have a limiter on it?

The other really cheap option is to fit a bigger sproket on the back, it won't limit the power but it will limit the top speed down.

If You're Selling The 140cc PM Me!

If You're Selling The 140cc PM Me! As Long As It's In New / Running Condition..
I'll Be Seriously Interested!

Replacing The Carb Works Great & You Don't Hav2 Change Any Electrics!

You Can Also Get A New Throttle, Cheaper Than Engine Swap Or Carb Swap
> I Think (If I'm Not Mistaken & It's Still Available) The X1 Throttle Is Adjustable!

Hope You Get Your Ladies Bike Safe & Hava Real Good Once Over On The Whole Bike (All The Nuts & Bolts, Make Sure There Tight!) 4 Her Sake B4 You Go Riding!

My Dad Always Used 2 Say This B4 We All Went Out On A Ride
