Hello all,
I picked up a well used Yamaha PW 50 1982. The motor runs well and the bike is in decent shape for its age. I cleaned it up and serviced it,
The problem is after I took apart the rear wheel to replaced the brake shoes I can no longer get the rear end to reliably engage. The drive spins the wheel in the center stand but makes a horrible clicking sound when I have it on the ground. Additionally it grinds and clicks when walking the bike in neutral when it is off.
I am hoping that I made some brain fart when reassembling it. I have bought the Clymer manual and searched the internet to try and find a decent exploded parts diagram.
I know this is my fault for not paying better attention to how the bike came apart. Hopefully this is just operator error adn I do not need to replace gears.
PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks,
Jamie
