ok well for a few weeks my pitpro138cc hasnt been running right so i need some help fixing it an finding the problem
when i start it it dosnt want to idle i have to revv it to keep it alive an when i start it it sounds very ruff an i can hear a tapping sound like metal hitting metal but it still rides ok its just lacking a bit of its usual power
when i ride i cant hear the tapping but the tapping isnt loud so its probably still making that tapping sound when im riding it the exhaust is too loud to hear it if it was tapping
when i ride it an its up too temp it still wont keep its idle i have to ride for about 15mins until it decides it wants to idle

so if any one can help identify this problem please help or even if you have an idea of what it could be please let me know
thanks in advace steven aka divy

Respect young Pj, RESPECT.. its all she wanted lol still waiting for it to go BANG though...

myne does it till its warmed up.... like ill give three quick jabs on the throttle and she's all good. just get the carbie tuned and serviced

i'd check your valves, every few months, china engines should have their valves checked as they can become out of sync. Mojo advised my bro to get the valves checked every so often to prevent engine damage. He has the 140cc mojo.

i might do that no fear cause a tapping nosie coming from the engine cant be good an every one else i dont think a carby tune will stop that tapping noise

the valves are the things that make that sligh tap noise, take it to the moto shop and get them to put the right gap in, you you can do it your self, also on the carby you turn the idle screw clock wise, it will rev higher on idle and wont stall. My mate thort his thumpstar was **** because it wouldnt idle, i turned the screw a bit and it idles perfect.

what is the valve clearance anyway
