Hi Everyone, I am new to dirt bikes and I want someone to help me out in choosing a mini bike.
I'm only 15 and I want to get confident in riding a motorbike before I'm 18 so I can get a Motorbike License on the road.
I have a tight budget so I've cut down to 3 125cc bikes.
I found them on Ebay and I just want to which one is most best for my money. (Most Reliable, Long Lasting etc.)
1.:
2008 125cc TDR PIT DIRT MOTOR TRAIL BIKE THUMPSTAR eAX0 - eBay Other Trail Bikes, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 02-Oct-08 19:23:00 AEST)
2:
125CC TDR ALLOY PIT TRAIL MOTOR DIRT BIKE THUMPSTAR OX4 - eBay Other Trail Bikes, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 03-Oct-08 19:13:00 AEST)

Thanks in advance. :)

TDR is quite a cheap brand look at reviews on here use the searcxh feature
or have a look at a pit pro i just brought one its going fine only had a small problem witch was one cable wasnt plugged in once i fixed that its going fine

Hi mate I cant really tell you what to buy but I can tell You that my sister in law bought the second one and Its not real good quality. Its got a really crap carby and is pretty weak in the way its built. It goes pretty slow too. She ended up payin about 100 bucks less than I paid for my pitpro 125 and it is no comparison to my bike.Write what your budget is and Im sure some people on here would be really helpful if they knew how much you want to spend. Just consider that some of the cheaper bikes can end up costing you more in the end because you are always fixing them. One thing I do recommend is to get a manual clutch type bike not a centrifical cause it wil be better for you to learn when it comes to gettin licence.

I didnt even bother clicking on the links u posted once I noticed they were from A and S. Dont bother with them at all!

A Pitpro or Dhz would be a much better option as mentioned above or try and save for an mso 125 S and you wont be dissapointed as you would with the ''torque dynamic racing'' bikes.

I once read a statement on here that read 'beware of any seller or bike that has racing in its name if they dont have a race team' and these bikes are one of those to beware of.

So... I should be looking around for a Pit Pro or Dhz?
How much are they roughly?

This may not help you at all... But you don't need to get a mini bike to gain confidence to ride on the road. Trust me you are better off saving your money until you are 18. I would know as I have my license.

Cheers

Hmmmmm.
He's got a good point but I have a massive paddock outback and I want to use it constructively.

I've searched a mso 125 S and I'm not worryed about that price.
It seems good, Does anyone have anything else to back this bike up?
The only Problem I have with it is that it's in Sydney, I believe in seeing first what I buy so I don't get just the handlebars of it.

Correct , most of the fleabay sellers have very minimal experience with motorcycles let alone know what it takes to build one that last longer than 3 months.
I'd steer clear from buying a bike off ebay , unless its a decent second hand one like a motovert or genuine Thumpstar. If something goes wrong your preety much on your own.
The mini classifieds has been going off latley with bargins left right and centre. There is a GT125 in the classified at the moment for $700 which is an absolute steal considering its a $3000 bike new , also comes with all the trick bits like fastace forks , billet clamps , pro tapers , monster energy graphics , decent swingarm , spare wheel set. These bikes are super reliable too and not a cheap ebay piece.
I would look into that or check out mso bikes or even Fused minis. But that Gt is def. worth the look into!!

Firstly, Thank You for the Warm Welcome and the paragraphs of help.

I'm going to start working soon so I haven't got the money on my just yet. I'm just looking around and trying to figure out what I want so when I got the money, I can start looking to buy.

Thanks for the Advice because I was on the verge of making my mind up on buying a "fleebay" item.

I barely know anything about Motorbike parts etc.
So bare with me.
I'm the kind of kid that just wants to get to high speeds and stuff, I don't want a bike just to go airbourne. (My First Push Bike was a Mountain Bike)
So keeping that in mind, I need something that will go when I want it to go and take a lot of bounces, The paddock out back behind my house is grass so it has a lot of bumps. Has anyone got any recommendations?

Can you give me the link for this?
If you put it that way that it's a 3000 dollar bike and it's up for 700, I'll see if my dad can help me out until I pay him back.

if I could get the cash together id buy that bike and I dont like to buy second hand chinas but that bike would be an exeption. I like it
