Newbie first bike what to get..?

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and done a fair bit or searching and research and I'm after a new bike.. As I'm fairly new I'm not to sure as to what parts or brands are good and which ones are rubbish my friend had a 125 and I rode that for about an hour and wanted more power so I was thinking a 160. I had a look at the atomik reign 160 Bigfoot and that seems like a good bike for the money etc. at the mommy I only have around 900 to spend but I'm after something like that which I can upgrade and mod later on. Any help on which bike is good or has good parts etc will be great. Thanks a heap in advance for any questions and help.

hi motor man thank you, i dont mean to clog the forum i did a minor search and i did come up with the thread however i notices that in the $1000 section of that thread although you can buy a 160cc atomik they are not really in there. although i didnt mention it in my first post i was just after abit of info about the atomik nitorus and reign 160cc and the diference between the bigfoot and mid size etc.. obviously the sizre but ive looked into the parts etc and it looks the same however they word it differently so im abit unsure as to wether they are trying to hide something etc. alot of ppl say to get the mid size but im not to sure wether the bigger wheels will suit me or the standard and im abit unsure about the reign or the nitrous.. sorry to ask so many questions just want to make sure i purchase the right bike before i try to resolve 60 problems on this forum.. thanks alot for ur help

i am thinking about getting my first motorcycle and i have a few ideas but dont know alot about them. im thinking about selling my integra soon for about 3k and i have around and extra 1000. I had a few bike in mind like the FZR6 or the suzuki katana i heard that was a good beginer bike. also my uncle is selling his old 88 FZR1. people have told me that i should just get like a 250 ninja to start out but i want something with a little more balls.
