Hi not long brought a second hand pit bike 110cc as shown in my pic... Thing is when i was pushing the bike i noticed a rubbing sound coming from the chain catching on something and ive now figured out what it is but i aint got a clue what the part is so i will describe the best i can if you follow the chain from the front small sprocket i think its called a sprocket lol about 1 to 2 inches down the chain at the top you have a flat plastic thing sitting on top of the swing arm i think its called that the chain kinda touches and runs on then underneath at the bottom part of the chain this is where im missing something??? like a roller that the chain runs on top of and takes up the slack the roller thingy is missing but there is a metal thing sticking out where the roller thing is ment to be and the chain is rubbing against it??? can i saw this off or is it best to get the roller thingy? whats the roller thingy called? lol and are they all the same fitting? becuase ive just got a metal 2 inch thing sticking out and the chain rubbin against it hope you understand what im trying to say as im new to all this cheers...

Dont cut it off as your chain tension will be impossible to get right. You need to purchase a new chain roller. ESD in Australia has them but i would find a supplier in the UK if I was you.

Try ebay, have seen them on their for $10 AU, so you would pick one up there for about 2-3 quid. I have made them for myself and other ppl now out of skate board wheels lathed up. better than the originals.

Yeah I made a new one out of industrial plastic for my old bike but you're best off buying a new one.
