So far I've seen a few ways to do this.

-Steal wool, chicken wire, mesh wrapping

-Silencer cones, little things to put in the end of the pipe

-A proper muffler/silencer from a motorcycle shop

In your opinion what would give the greatest noise reduction without completely killing performance?

Cheers

My friend was using some mesh with somthing with chicken wire over it the other day...

Ive repacked the muffler with steel wool this helped a bit. Its not as tightly packed as it was from stock.

I also put a metal garden hose connector in the end of my ehaust which brought the hole down to about 1cm.
But i took that out as i thought it might be damaging the engine, im not sure if it does though, But it made it pretty quiet.

exhaust silencer from ebay quietens it heeps but you loose power

you could always replace your engine with a pedal system, it's really quiet

does anyone have a link to the exhaurst silencer on ebay, i cant seem to find one.

thanks
