hay mate, i would suggest that you loosen off your clutch cable with both adjustments (one on the handle bars and your secondary adjustment above your clutch basket casing with 2 nuts and a threaded cylinder which the clutch cable runs through.) once done check for any snags along the line and more importantly make sure the casing lever has fallen back to its dis-engaged position. once done connect it all back up leaving the adjustments to last and tighten the cable up only to the point where the clutch cable cant slip out of the levers. when done pull in your clutch lever on the handle bars to see if its responsive and release to ensure its falling back into position. if it doesnt fall back into position make sure there are no snags on the line, more importantly if the clutch cable has lost tension then you have some bigger problems to worry about. fingers crossed this isnt the case.
provided all goes smoothly and the cable falls into position with the levers, there is correct tension and so on, now is the time to start your bike. once started pull in the clutch lever and click down into first gear (advised to do this with front will up against wall to stop bike from jumping forward.) if it clicks in smoothly begin releasing the clutch slowly till it begins to grab, if it grabs too late (personal setting) or too early loosen or tighten respectivly to adjust to taste.
hope this helps you out mate, if you still have problems post up some pics of key points so we can have a closer look.
Cheers, Tony.
