Yeah i sat up and watched it. Good watching the time trials, but it will all be on once they start racing. A couple of big crashes, and expect to see a few more over the next couple of days.

yeah that chick copped i ay, will be good to see them race but yeah. its a pretty nice track n i like the way the guys have to do a different line should be good! go Aussie!

Wtf is Phil leggit doing in the commentary box? He knows nothing about bmx! Old mate from Latvia ate it hard on the last straight in the time trial, the racing should be very interesting!

the track looks trick..... be better to see pittys on there ;)

will be awesome to watch once the racing starts!!!

Some epic racing tonight so far, some big crashes and some big takeouts. For anyone not silly enough to sit up and watch it, make sure you check out the replays. Well worth it.

And Mental, you are right, would be sick to ride on a mini. Trying some different lines through those rhythm sections would be sick.

phill leggit said the other day that bmx should not be at the olympics. i lost a bit of respect for him after that. he should not be commentating this

Rythm sections are crazy fast in the mens n they all wiping each other out each moto i reckon its worth stayn up for :)
And your right westy he should stick to tennis or lawn bowls

Yeah thats definitely poor form. Its the only sport I will go out of my way to watch. I know there would be a lot of other people who would think the same. I definitely am not interested in watching horse dancing or idiots swimming 10 kilometres. They should be adding a couple of other "extreme" sports, not talking about how BMX shouldnt be there.

he is actually a retired professional cyclist and is a very good road and track commentator. he commentates the tour de france every year very well.

Was some very good racing last night, I reckon that kiwi fella (whose name I can't remember, mills or something maybe) might be one to watch. Dude had some real speed out of the gate, hopefully willoughby comes out and smashes it though. And of course Buchanan in the women's final
