Hey i recently bought a orion 140cc (bigwheel) and when i start it on the 1st and sometimes 2nd kick it makes a noise as though its flooded and the kick start flings back REALLY HARD with or without choke, then after this it will start. Can any body help

sounds like it flooded, do you twist the throttle when u start it? also could be timming is out

nope dont twist the throttle at all, but tryed doing that to, didnt help. This is how it has started since the second start since we got it.

i got the 140 lifan and it gives a prety bad kickback hurts ya ankle and all, make sure you find tdc and kick it over, have you checked your spark plug and carby?make sure your throttle isnt stuck open

yeah, i cut my toe up pretty bad haha (dont kick start without shoes on :p). spark plugs all sweet not sure on carby tho. How do i find TDC?

slowly kick your bike over(it will feel soft then on your next kick have alot of compresion)when its hard and has compression kick it and it should start, dont just sit there kickin it over, make sure if its cold weather your have your choke on,when i dont use the choke it gives huge kickback, that flooded noise is just from the kickback its just the noise it makes,a half assed attempt at kicking it over will usualy result in a kickback iv found

thanks for ya help guys. i tried it a couple of times and it worked, cheers.

go to snitchys irk install vid and watch it and he shows u how to get tdc

i find its easyer to kick over if you get it just past TDC, just get to that hard spot then push it just past, thenlet the kick starter come back to the top and give it a solid kick! should start first or second kick plus theres no chance of it kicking back!

and make sure you have the choke on when its cold
