Trying to do some research on some things on here and alot of threads are just left open. Looking at getting some motard tyres and get to a thread about them and there is no information on how they actually are or handle. Alot of 'hey look at what i got' threads but please give a final comment so people can make a better judgement.

tt92s are good, so are vee rubbers... Then you can spend a bit more and get some SAVA's...

If you want a cheaper option, go some CST's, they are suppose to be pretty good, I have a set here at home, but haven't had a chance to use them.

I have ridden TT92's and Vee rubers and soon CST. I find that the TT92's heat up a lot faster than the vee rubers so on a cold day or not to much track temp for short races or rides i think that the TT's would be better. But in saying that my Vee rubers have more grip when they get to the same temp. (from what i have experianced dont rape me :p) As for the CST slicks they are cheap and aparntly they are insane for grip I have heard from 2 motard racers they have more grip then tt's and vees but also in saying that being so soft you would not get any where near the same lasting time...So really it depends on your wallet I would go for the tt's if your in just a normal weekend motarder ive seen them as cheap as $99 each then $20 to fit. I think vees are $170 & $150 cant remember which tyre cost what but it was around that I think dont quote me on it though. And the Csts you can get a set for $140 deliverd to your door...

Thanks guys,
The comment was more in the relation to all threads started, including ppl who cant start their bike, post a thread, then fix it but never come back to finish the thread and let us know how they fixed it.

Ive sent off an email to jr ?? to get a price on a rim and tyre package. Only starting out, not even a proper place to ride here yet (sa) so the cst's should be fine.

Yeah if your not riding every weekend i think the CST's will do more than last but if you have periods inbetween of not riding glad wrap your tyres thats right i said glad wrap them. If you ride them then dont for a decent period ( a month or more) the tyre will turn blue and go hard and will get less grip because harder. From what i have heard they oxidize so yeah wrap them when you get home to save them :)
