hows this for a water crossing, man it sucked lol, i stalled in the middle of it on the first lap then again on the second(CRF dont like water above the airbox)finally made it on the 3rd and no problems after that, They said 2 meters from the steel droppers was 3mter deep

The water got deeper as the day went on but was a sweet track (apart from the DAM RAIN)had a ball, ended up 2nd for the day.....got stuck in a rut but hay no excuses

anyone else got some BIG water crossings?

my YZ would of made it about 5 meters then died from water to the engine,

stupid grab holes

you should of try'd to be a Crusty demon #2 & aqua plain that whole thing , 5th pinned should of had ya sorted lol

hahaha when i was racing i couldn't wait to finish and get home, but now i think about it it was a blast, track would of been sick in the dry

i did think about that lol, but didn't wanna risk drowning my bike and a nice big face plant in front of 50 people

Cheers man, well you know if you wanna race your more than welcome, the club is trying to get more people from the mainland to come and have a race, we had a few turn up from QLD to race their quads, and a few weeks back a few from VIC turned up to.

Muchos Buenos on the second place Roost, well done mate!!! gotta be chuffed with that, drowned rat or no drowneded rat..
I always tried slow speed wheelies across water crossings... admittedly yours looked rather deep, but a first gear balance wheelie across them usually upsets those on the side of the creek with upside-down bikes.. lol..

What class would I be in?

depends, how good are ya? C grade i can smoke pretty easy but B grade is great competition, A grade/Expert, i can finish top 15/10, but i dont have the fitness for A grade as they do more laps, hence why i race B grade. But if i finish in the top 3 of B grade then they put me into A.

I reckon you should go B grade, C grade is cluttered with trophy hunters lol

here is a pic to show just how wet it was, they are brand new tyres on my bike, i only rode from the pit to starting line(about 30mtr's) lol

Nice holeshot Roost. Looks like a lot of the stuff I ride in (muddy with a bit of clay).

I have no idea how quick I am as i haven't raced an Enuro before!! I have been trail riding for enough years and there ain't nothing I won't give a crack (including vert hills).

Ahh I wanted to be a C Grade Trophy hunter!! haha.

I think I might practice up and do a local one first and see how I go.

ya just run c grade then if you feel your beating them easy step up a grade
