I have an apollo007 dirt bike. I was recently riding and i was turning and the engine revved up without me touching the throttle or barely teisting the throttle. I was looking at the throttle and see itd attached to a canle going into the top part of my carburetor. Im not really sure what the problem is any help. Thank you

Welcome to Minirider's

Drop in and say hello in our Introduce Yourself thread while you're here.

Is the any free play at the throttle?
Can you move the handle a few mm's before the engine rev's start to rise?

If not loosen the lock nut and turn the end of the outer cable in end where it screw's into the throttle handle so there is some free play, then do up the lock nut again.

If there is enough play there, it might be that you cable is kinked, making it stick sometime's.
Or possibly when you turn your bar's there isn't enough cable length and it pull's on the throttle?

Thanks i went to look at the cable and it looks short. It was teisting out if its place.

You probably have no freeplay in your throttle and you can easily youtube that or google it,

Your throttle might have been stuck?

if you we're turning you might have done it yourself and scared yourself a little bit and thought it was not the bike, it probably was you but you don't notice, dirt bike's arnt designed to rev by them self the throttle has to come into play for that. goodluck

I think your throttle cable might be too short then
A new longer throttle cable is pretty cheap, usually under $10 including delivery

Has this just started to happen ? Or have you just replaced the cable ?

If the cable is routed down the left hand side of the bike you can re route it down the right hand side of the bike so it doesn't have as far to travel

That's if the cable is too short and it's a quick fix until you get a longer cable
