Hi,

I have a Pitster X2 140 and it has always had a bit of a flat spot at low speed when you wind back the throttle. Ive had it tuned up which improved it but its still there and annoying... Someone told me I could get it jetted? another recomendation is to replace the carb with a 26mm Mikuni Carb?

Any help is appreciated. Cheers

so im guessing your running a lifan 140....what carb and what size are you running and what are the current jets in it

Have you done the valves? They should be at .005/.005.

There are some great threads here on carbies and which ones to buy, how to tune them ect. I'll just have to do a search with the search function on the toolbar up top.

With jetting they should be set at .003/.004.

i have never read about both valves being set at .005 on both...

and what do you mean by "with jetting they should be set at .003 and .004" ???
most carbies have jets in them mate

I've read a few threads and they've said set valves at 004/005?? I'm going off of what I've read.
