problem with starting yx 140

hi got a braap maestro with a yx 140 and changed the carb to a 26ml mikuni now it wont start. tried putting old jets in the new carb and old carb back on etc and nothing
just wondering if anyone out there is interested in coming to have a look

mate you have probably flooded the engine..

with what ever carb you have on there now try kicking it hard and holding the throttle flat, once it fires quickly release the throttle to a steady idle.

if still no joy inspect the spark plug, maybe even swap it with a new one..

just be careful that it doesnt kick back and break something..

alright now got it started and its not able to rev
it idles with a bit of a crackle. then go to rev and it dies, what could it be? needle is on middle setting

could be many things mate.. idle quality wont have anything to do with the needle height tho.

could be a vacuum leak at the manifold or carby.. make sure all gaskets and orings are in good order.

which carby do you have on it at present?
