Hey all I've had a search but couldn't find anything so I thought id make a post.

My problem is that my bike with a 140cc Lifan wont start in neutral, it starts and runs great in any other gear but when I change it back to neutral it conks out.

I'm lost any help would be great.

um....does it have a neutral indicator wire? usually a pale green with a stripe... and seperate to the wires that go to the cdi unit...(usually green, red/black and blue white) it also comes from a lil black plug just over the front sprocket, if you pull the cover off... any wires from there are unnessecary(purple, pale green etc) theyre just neutral and gear indicators...

sounds like its been joined up to something it shouldnt be touching, so when you hit neutral it earths itself out... cut it off!!!!! who wants a neutral indicator anyway?

doesnt happen to have a sidestand switch? cut it off as well if it does!
