Hey guys ive heard many people say many different things on what is best to clean your air filter with
What do you guys think?

Er? Thanks but i olny want to clean one air filter.. How

spray on is good, but you get more use out of a bottle, it simple with a bottle, get yourself a old plastic shopping bag, put a couple of drops into the bag, throw you air filter in and the massage the air filter (with your hands on the outside of the bag obviously)

thanks

ill do that
what brand of oil 2 use??

this is an old thread i think but anyway.
the air filter oil goes all greasy and sticky.. would that make the dirt stick?
i got a cr125 and just wash it in hot water with soap.. but do it often.
not totaly sure about the air filter oil
it seems like another expense

It wont make all the dirt stick to it but it stops all the fine dust from getting through the filter and in to your carby and so on.

i might be weird
in fact i'll garentee i'm weird

i have tried used and abused all oils and and methods of cleaning

i now use no-toil filter oil and no-toil filter cleaner and i tell you there is no other way to clean your filters

the no- toil filter cleaner works on most oils even though the package says it doesn't and it will bring your filter back to brand new in literally seconds i have never seen anything like it
and as i say i've tried it all even other brands of cleaner and oils that claim to do the same thing

hmm good plug for a serco product but hey i swear by it

i was told a while ago that you can get away with using that spray on cooking oil, can anyone confirm that?

coolie, are you talking about that powder stuff you mix in water if you are then ya i agree that no-toil stuff is the shiz..............................

The way i general clean my filters is
wash in kero
rinse in warm soapy water
hit with compressor
hang to dry
apply filter oil
