it looks ok, possibly a genuine one too?

you will probably need a rubber manifold adapter to fit it to you bike as well.
you need to find out the outside diameter of the carby to work out which size adapter to buy.
and also need the measurement across the bolt hole centres, that are on the manifold.

the adapter will look something like this-

you seem to have a lot of different threads going at the same time, about the same thing.

it may be worth starting a build type thread, and ask all of your questions that you have there?

i really appreciate that. so this part you linked me too goes on the manifold side and gets sea clamped down and off the other side is where the manifold connects. The other side is for the filter correct? its a 22mm carb what exactly do i measure
thanks

the pic that is in the link, in your first post, is a bit hard to tell what manifold the carby needs to go on.
as it is only pictured from one side.

with the rubber manifold adapter, it bolts up to your aluminium intake manifold,
the carby slips inside this, and is held tight with a hose clamp around the outside of the rubber adapter.
the larger/intake side of the carby has the air filter attatched to it.

yeah im going to order it then post pictures of it when i receive it. theres only one picture so its hard too see what it actually is. appreciate it, i will post pictures of it when i get it too see what adapter i need
