hope you get your money back. just goes to show that deals that r too good to be true usually are.

I'm sure you'll be able to get your money back somehow, theres heaps of scammers around, someone attempted to scam me when I was selling my car on carsales saying they're overseas and their agent will pick it up asking for bank details etc. Watch out for those ones, Usually involves Western Union or something.

sweet matt good to hear , involve the police keep records of all your convosations with the IE name off officer and badge No.

also keep records off all conversations with any party you have involved , he will be caught and he will be held responsible and pres charges all the way matt , when its all said and done , then speak to a lawyer about any out off pocket expenses you may have , hence keep details off every 1 u speak too

best off luck and keep us updated mate

Yeah its really common now, happens on eBay alot to. Especially when they say their "agent" will arrange pickup with you after you give your bank details or PayPal details to them.
