hey.... i wsa out on my bike the other day and te chain slipped off and mashed the bolts on my rear sprocket... so now i tried to tighten them but the chain has mashed the inside to so the allen key just slips round but as i cant tighten them i cant take htem out either... so has anyone got any ideas on how to get them out atall and does anybody know the size of them so i can buy knew ones ready.....
 
umm u got a grinder? lol nah anyway u can get sum plyers around them?.....other then that only thing i could think of is mayb drilling it out? but that mit **** up the inner threads so errr... this is a tuff one lol
 
Yeah I was taking the bolts off the sprocket and one snapped so I used a drill and an ezy out.
 
lol atm a grinder sounds good...dont wanu sound stupid but whats an easy out or what tha thing u said is lol?? tried the pliers just slips round the bolt like lol get pretty angry with it lol
 
all sorted now yay...just hammered a big old torx screw driver in ther...ta 4 the help
 
I replaced mine with high tensile bolts, and I would recommend you do to.
 
I normally use a grinder or a dremel, put a cut across the bolt, get a BIG flat blade screwdriver, put it into the new slot, then put some vice grips on the screwdriver and she undoes no problemo.

Try vice grips on the bolt heads first, they will grip better than pliers. If that dont work try dremeling a slot into the head and try a screwdriver, you may need a spanner round the screw driver for leverage.

If that dont work, find a drill smaller than the diameter of the thread on the screw and drill them suckers out. You may need to re-tap the threads again though.
