Site Downtime

Hi All,

We are now officially back online!!

Had a couple of issues that all seemed to happen at once.

First our server was under attack with DDOS threats which cuase Optus and Telstra to ban our IP.

Got that sorted and apparently the bloody domain had expired and I didn't get any notification. This has just now been rectified as well.

I apologise for the downtime but fingers crossed this won't happen again for a very long time.

You wish. It goes into holding for 90 days before being put back up for sale.

Yeah they suck. Only so many things you can do to stop them as well. It all has a big flow on effect.

Good job mate, not sure if it is just me but when I google search miniriders it doesn't show in the results? Also if I use the link in my bookmarks it comes up with a page (with music) which says "evil 2 dead" ?? any way I have my ways of getting around it for now, just wondering if anyone else got this?

I just tried to get on here and it come up all black and said "hacked my evil to dead" Strange. But it works ok now.

Yes as you all would know we were hacked last night.

The site has been cleaned up again and some temporary stop measure have been put into place.

Unfortunately the site will need to go down again tonight to install a Vbulletin upgrade to stop these bastards doing this again.

Yeah I know mate I really didn't want to have to take it down again but I really have no choice to stop the hackers.

They have been hacking a lot of VBulletin forums.

I managed to get a few logs and have an idea of where they came from. Let's just say a few of my hacker mates might very well return the favour.

YES! i was gettin pretty bored at home with no MR, but that MM for your work on gettin it all back up again, great job, i thought it was my computer, but what do i know, lol. and those hackers should go home and uppercut them selves until they think straight!!
