G'day all,

I recently bought two of these little things, and they're awesome.

I never realised there was a following for little bikes, but it turns out that's rad. Does anyone else here own one of these? I think the engine is a skyteam st125-15, but I am not sure.

More troublesome is that I can't find the specs for tuning it anywhere. Does anyone know the valve clearances for this little beast (I know they need doing...).

also I've been amusing myself with the idea of a 22mm Mikuni carb and somekind of exhaust to match. But on all the pit bike sites I can find plenty of dax-type exhausts.... and no mention of the poor old Chappy bubbly 125..

So, does anyone know where I should look?

(I've tried to attach some photos of one of them - the "before" shoot..)

Thanks mate,

these valve clearances apply to a 125 4 stroke as well? That's gold. I'll check out your builds.

Yeah that is for a 4 stroke, same as the Lifan 125, Ducar 125's.
And early, till late 80's? 2 strokes don't have valves either.

You got the nail right on the head xr. Valve clearance for the 80's and up I believe doesn't change but a lil from that. There's a following for these bikes everywhere. I had one my ex made me. Sell for rent $.....keyword my EX. Lol. But they are just like the ct/dax/minitrails in popularity
