I recently purchased a Pitster pro x4r with a damaged motor. Cut a long story short got a new 160zHO motor with warranty installed at DHZ and i have a spare motor to play with.

original motor had broken kickstart gears, broken gear shaft and some bearings collapsed as well. Apart from that all other parts seem good for spares

Do you guys recommend that i keep this motor for spares or should i strip it and sell the parts seperately
Im new to the minibike scene and still learning
Thanks

Best bet would be to advertise the complete engine , depending on price someone mite want to pick it up and fix it , cheap for them , and you still get abit of money for it.

The broken ones are the ones most likely to go on the new engine, so it's not much good as a "spares" deal. The parts are cheap enough, if you want to learn about engine repair/building, and fix it. Worst case, you bugger the job and put the new one back in:)
