Hi Guys

Our nephew just got a pitpro110 (auto) and it goes like the clappers. He's only 11 years old. We were wondering if there was any simple way of modifying the bike so that we could reduce the maximum speed it could go at? His brother wants to ride it also and is only 9 years old.

Thanks

well im not to sure about them bikes... but the neighbours got 2 4 wheelers for christmas, the things flew, and the little kid was either off the throttle or all the way on it (6yr) but yea they came with goveners and all that had to be done was screwed it which limited how far they could actully push em... but the throttle controller is different from a 2 wheeler... you may need to buy an assembly with the govener in it

Try taking apart the throttle and looking at places where you may be able to drill a hole in it and tap a thread in the housing.

If you can do this you should be able to put a short bolt in it which can limit the amount that you can twist the throttle.

You can make a hollow brass bushing or tube that goes on the top of the carb slide and limits the amount the throttle can be opened.
