well going from a 48T to a 41T or even a 37T is gonna slow the bike down on take offs wont it?

i need to replace the standard one cause its poorly made and the bolt holes are not in the middle, hense iam getting uneven chain tension,

Well I tried a 41 tooth and I bloody hated it so much, I would much reccomend the 37 tooth.
 
I had a 37 tooth on my MSO and I changed it to a 41 and prefer it. Each to their own i guess
 
Yeah I prefer the bigger sprockets for dirt. I keep 14 through to 17 tooth sprockets for the front if a want to change ratio's. The bigger sprockets keep the chain from rubbing hard into the swingarm.
