well this just sucks - and now i can't get the dam spring out... grrrr

on the upside when it is done there is a 7.5mm lift cam to replace TB one :)

I've heard of this happening before. I have a piece of titanium bar on my desk, I'm gonna make some trick retainers out of it. I know of other people who have switched to using the stock yx150 retainers, they're stonger than the TB ones.
 
that would be more than 13000 rpm for sure......

well now i know not to by and engine off you..haha
 
once i'm done with a motor even the scrap metal man won't buy it .hahaha

and i'll rev my motor till it pops if it means i'll go faster :p to me a blowen motor is a new motor :p

Gotta love that attitude :D hahaha i do, But fark thats gotta be a pain in the arse to get out
 
wasn't so hard in the end. shoved into the vice put just a touch of pressure and bam one retainer smashed into my chest..haha NB I always wear eye protection when doing valve springs!!! not worth loosing an eye!
