Tossing up between these 2 at the moment unless i find a nice crf for under 4g's..

What's everybodies opinion on these bikes?

cheers.

Dont buy either of them!!!

Pitster Pro X3R all the way! You will be laughing yourself silly with one, i know i am! Seriously for around that 3-4k mark they win hands down. Plus if your budgeting towards 4k you would be able to do some seriously sweet motor work and the thing will hook, mine hooks straight out the box!

New Page 1

Talk to Pete...

Hmm ill have to consider that too then, does anybody know when the 2008 motovert pros are out? They sound good with thew new engines and stuff..

Anybody have any details on them?

Dude I would definately get the 08 motovert pro.

HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH A 12SCC DAYTONA ENGINE???

yeh ben's right, it would be worth waiting for 2 years for that sweet box!!
only thing...how much will it cost...?? LOL

Yeah thats the bike i want but i need a date of when its cming out because im not prepared to wait a year or 2 for it..

Anybody have any info on it?

cheers.

Remember that this "Daytona" engine isnt a japanese daytona guys, it is essentially a chinese Daytona engine which is different again to the aftermarket japanese high end units. From what ive seen as well the new Moto vert pro is like the Pitster X4 in the fact that its a mid size bike. If you want a bigger bike, great but to me they are getting pretty big and kind of look like a souped up Ag bike with their big front mudguards.

the terra moto r pretty sweet, had one a year now and it hasnt failed on me now and i thrash the **** out of it!!!!

According to 50s brotherhood magazine its a daytona japan engine...

A daytona japan engine made in china?? hmmm

The terramoto's have some design faults, the guy at the thumpy shop said the rear wheel hits the gass cylinder on the shock!

i have an 08 motovert pro arriving early next week, 2 of my mates have theirs arriving same time. looking at all the other rides out there they seem to be the best !
i am not easily impressed as i have been used to buying brand new japanese motos for some 25 years now. -my point, i don't buy **** !

i will let you know what they are like ,, my other 2 mates have just sold their 07 experts which they rode flat out on a pitty track at "A grade" level and they had no major issues that were not sorted asap by the supplier, so

do not get a terra moto.. my mate has one and it handles like a piece of turd! my pit po 125rr hanldes nicer

I own a 07 motovert pro( search here on forums) and would not recommend it. As for the 08 motoverts I would wait till they are released and read some feedback on them b4 forkin out cash. Personally now I wish I had purchased either a Pitsterprox4 or a MSO Elite.

ive had a sneak peak at the 08 motoverts at eastcoast50s and all i can say is very nice. The quality at which everything appears is amazing and all parts seem to have that consistant quality. There very very nice bikes. The pitsterpro's are also top notch too and are well worth the coin especially the x4r with the shivers but personally if i had 4 g's i would buy a worked crf50 my reccomendations is spend a good $3500 on one , get it serviced by the shop just to check it over look around ebay and fmxaustralia.com there's a guy on there (88 limited) who is selling all the time

Just my opinion, dont get me wrong I love Hondas(owned umm maybe 6-7 few posties in there but), only problem with CRF50s by the time a large teen or adult is able to ride them to full potential is when most of the bike is replaced with aftermarket parts and quite often the only original parts are the gearbox.
So really you are not buying a Real CRF.
Look at what they are racing in the big dollar classes in the U.S and I bet there are no CRFs(other then specific classes ie 88cc,108cc, stockers etc...) Pitsterpro, Motovert, KLX110s and others are leading the charge. Other then the KLX110 these bikes need very little mods to be competitive. I just feel its silly to buy a modified bike that is nothing like the original bike that it was designed for.(kids)
Most people are newbies here and are wanting to buy a bike that is ready to rock str8 from the shop. Not spend$$$ and time building a great bike.
Just my 2 cents

hey mate,
i'm interested to hear if you had any issues with the 07 motovert pro?
as mentioned earlier i have an 08 pro coming next week and i am curious to find out if there are any weak points i may have to upgrade?
i know the 08 pro is based on a klx 110 and is quite different than the 07 pro however let me know if there are any mods i should consider....
