hello guys i registered a while a go and other than introducing myself and bikes i only ever really browse the site, so i thought it was about time i made my own thread!:p

i've just picked up a used reegmx crf50 frame kit with a +5 swing arm, i already had a +3 so that will do nicely for a mini(+3) and supermoto(+5) with a bigger motor. the frame is in mint condition with only a few marks on the under side of the swinger from the chain- other than that its spotless:D

the local powder coater is waiting for me to drop it off, i'm planning the main frame to be prismatic black with multi flake and the sub frame honda red to match my plastics... any opinions? also having some custom graphics made

other bits i've got waiting to go on are my stratos sr6 front end along with the crf 50 motor with kitaco 88cc kit, fast50's billet rear wheel and hope rear hand brake. hopefully should be a nice build!

thanks

they're going on red and white plastics, so any ideas what colours for the frame would be ideal?

cheers

NICE! Very Sik Kit, the LUSK Tribute looks great. RIP

I think either a White, Red, or Black frame would look good with your graphics and White/Red Plastics.

i had a bike with a white frame red subframe... it looks goods and will look even better with this sticker kit on it

cheers guys, just need to service my forks, rebuild my motor and get the frame coated... then she'll be up and running again! i think i'll go red and white, polished the fast50s wheel up today too so thats looking shiny again!

watch this space:D

This thing will be niceee. I love the reeg rear ends. Such a sick setup.
I would leave the frame either all black, or get it done all white. I think coloured subframe will make it look cheap/un-clean. Ive seen it before and wasnt a fan of it.....But its your bike in the end!

What oil you using?
not sure yet possibly 15w, any recommendations ? need to find a stratos manual really- they seem about as common as rocking horse poo!

thanks mate i'm hoping so! there aren't many of the reeg frame kits left in the UK either so it should stand out quite nicely! too many choices isnt always a good thing!!

cheers

Yeah man you hardly see reeg setups anywhere for that matter. Too many choices always ends up being a bad thing! ahaa

dropped the frame in at the powder coater's today, going for a mirror white main frame and candy red subframe, with a clear coat with silver flake over it all... going to collect it again next weekend!

need some help now, the bolt holding the bottom shock mount on the +5 swing arm is turning the bush's cup when i un do it so won't un screw out the eye. the way the arm is machined means there's no room to get anything substantial in to hold the metal cup still while you turn the bolt. basically it won't come out... any idea's? can get some pics if it'd explain it better.

thanks
