the old sprocket questions

hello everyone.
Im new to this forum and i just purchased a tomahawk G2 new generation model minibike!
my bike has a 16 tooth front sprocket and a 43 tooth rear sprocket, i am in need of a heap more speed and im wondering if some helpful person can point me in the direction of someone that can supply me with a 37 tooth sprocket that will bolt strait onto my bike!
Also i reckon that 4th gear isnt that good, sould i go for a 34 tooth sprocket?

Oh and i dont wanna spend $50 for a sprocket, thinking more along the lines of $20.

There are a measurements on there so you can compare ....IE stud to to stud as well diameter..


The sprocket cost $25 and if it dosent fit I will refund your money = No Risk

Cool thanks for the speedy replies. ill go for the 37 tooth from elstar, i better go check the stud spacings on mine first.
so would i definately need a new chain?

just another question, how much of an increase in power is it when you remove the choke off the carby? its got a mukini on the G2

Damn i just measured my sprocket and its not looking too good , heres the figures....

The inside hole diameter is 111mm,
The bolt holes next to each other are 89mm apart,
The bolt holes across from each other are 126mm apart.

Anyone know where i can get a 37 tooth replacement?

there are quite a few sprockets on ebay, im sure there will be one that will suit.

ive had a look on ebay and they are all very similar sprockets where mine is a one of a kind - very different. Damn, I even asked the bloke who i bought it off and he said they only have the original 43 tooth replacements.

maybe change front sprocket? (you want to go bigger).

you could always buy new front sprocket, rear sprocket and chain if ur that desperate. If you got a 10" rear wheel you could also go 12" rear.... heaps of options

can you get a 19 tooth front sprocket for a ducar engine? would that size cause clearance issues?

Not sure, havent looked down this path yet. Got a rear sprocket on the way which was 'gaurenteed' to fit my bike, but ill see how it goes.

I had a look at the bike before and i dont think id fit a bigger front sprocket, looks like a 17 would be about the max size

Actually i was just looking on ebay, and the Detonator bike has the exact same sprocket as mine, take a look...

This bike is very similar to mine, but i reckon my bike has a better back shock

that ebay seller, WIM sell rear sprockets. have a look and ask them if it will fit. I think there sprockets are pretty pricey tho, $48 or something..

yeah they are pricey, but the only ones he has for sale are not suited to the dominator,

i just bought mine, counted mine to be 40T... was 37T!!!!!!!! ffs, shud have taken chain off. If you want this one let me know. Its front and rear sprocket, 37T and 14T. I paid $40, ill giv it 2 u for $30 inc postage if u live on east coast. let me know and ill take some dimensions for ya.
