The only one on the forum without a moto?

Hey, yeah im new but i feel so lonely haha
I live in adelaide, i have around $200 and concidering buying a bike
But my rents have other ideas, haha thye hate them, anyone have/had the same
problem? i would really love a mini dirtbike or something like that maybe 50cc-125
but i realise 200 wont get me much so im thinking a pocket rocket? anyone help me out weres a good place to start with motos?

200 wont go too far im afraid but saying that, i bort my first pitty off ebay for 300 second hand and it was ok for what i wanted it for

sucks to be in your situation but seriously its better off you saving that $200 waiting and atleast getting to $600 for a nitrous. if you get a cheaper bike youll probably actually end up spending more than buying a more expensive bike because youll always be fixing it etc and buying new parts.

forget getting in this sport for 200 bucks mate .... a decent helmet will cost more than that and you need a lid and boots n gloves as a MINIMUM.

Also 200 bucks will only buy you someone elses troubles mate .... you'd save yaself time and money just givin 200 bucks to someone you hate .

Sorry mate that's just how it is .... save ya coins till you have enough for gear and a bike ... these things are fun but it's just not that cheap to get into .

Cheers for the comments guys ill probably end up getting a friends pocket bike
he wants $120 for it i live in the suburbs so i want something to get around on in the back streets
ive seent the cheapest like 49/50cc mini motos on ebay really concidering even if it works for a week ill try fix it myself, i guess i gotta stay posotive haha

yeah but 350 is nearly double what he's got to spend ...

hmm anyone on the gold coast notice how there are cops everywhere in surfers, southport and i think thats where it stops. i live in a suberb with over 25,000 people yeh thats more then i thort but its true.
anyways there is 1 police beat here, maned from like 10 till 6 tuesday and thursday i think.
anywyas there is bush all around here, some leading to the nerang state forest... its rair not to here dirt bikes riding around the street in a day. i dont see a problem if they are in the bush and il prolbly get shot for saying that but thats how i am.
so coppers in my area... not a problem (NOT that i ride the streets!)

**edit** ohh and pocket bikes, well they are rair here... i like on a hill, the hole suberb is hills lol i have ridden myne like 3 times lol. ohwell its fun when i have

regional aint really the problem bombers ... sh#t I could ride to the pub if I wanted from the farm but yeah I don't .... plenty of riding down here that's not on the road just like where you are ... sure crew might transit a bit on the road but it's generally not far and just to get to a track or trail

But this guys is in surburbia it's different man ... no gear no idea he'll end up smearing himself or someone else and he's thinkin of riding the streets and nothin else .

oh yer there are deffinently guys riding roads here on pittys, rair to see a helmet on em or anything, there a couple of guys at the top of my street that il see ride down and across to the bush which would only take a min or 2 but the have complete gear on, from head to toe just like you would wear when racing. im keen to see if i could tag along one day never ridden the bush in my area (only on pushies)
but im no street hero
