hey guys quick question on what has been identified as an atomik link 250

under normal throttle everything is fine but if i try to quickly twist the throttle from idle it seems as though it wants to stall or flood, not the biggest issue but annoying nonetheless

thanks in advance

pic of bike for reference

Could be jetting but is the idle very low, try turning the idle up a bit more and see how it goes. Normally these stock 27mm and 30mm copy carbs are jetted okay for these engines normally not requiring jetting.

yeah, they run a 30mm copy mikuni carb

If you twist is slower but still pretty fast, does it go ok ? I had this problem with my old bike and I just reset the fuel air mix and set the idle. Instructions can be found on this forum.

It sounds like it's a bit rich down low.

Alright will have a go tomorrow arvo thanks guys for the quick replies

Just move the needle settings down to allow more fuel (maybe one or two clips)
or up whatever seems appropriate
