Thumpstar 120cc HELP!! PLEASE.

hello everyone, and i'm new to this website!

I brought a 120cc Genuine Thumpstar a few days ago.

As i first jumped on it, it seemed fine after a few mins, i lost commpression and it was loosing power, then just turned off and would start, so i was advised to get a new spark plug? so i did and fitted that, then i payed someone to clean out carb today and they left, i went on the field a few hours later and its the same problem, its loosing power with full rev and then it just cuts off?
Please could someone help me!!
seems when its hot it stops working.
At the moment its not starting? Then sometimes it will start. But always loosing power and commpression, thanks very much.

did you check all the wires and connections???

check the battery connection like sammy advised...??

Definitely sounds electrical from what you describe. You are going to have to dig a lot deeper than just checking the battery though. Sounds stator related, or ignition/CDI related.

do u have enough gas in it? if you dont have a decent amount of gas it will also shut down on you... i remember i had this same problem then i realized i was almost running on emptyy...
