no ideah lol. Uhh where is it and how would i do that explaine please if u think thats the prob. thanks:confused:

That bogging your experiencing is cause your jetting is not right. If your unsure what to do go see any local bike shop, they shouldn't charge much to help you jet it. But... if your up to it, we could work through it.

I think I'll take it 2 the shops..lol, i will get a new plug and then i'll c what happens from there. How much u recon it will cost??

thanks

I dont agree or disagree...

But usually rejetting a bike is dne when a component is changed ie bigger exaughst richer fuel ..........not the point...

If it ran fine and dosent know I assume a problem not a calibaration.

Try pulling your carby apart

Carby for illustration purposes only....

No need to be scared... Get a table a a clean towl.. Lotts a small parts and take it one step at a time and you will have no problems....
Reassemble and if dosent run well take to mechanic.....

Your problem sounds typically like fuel or at least when we have simillar problems at work its fuel....

Check the stupid things as well ...Fuel supply hoses.....You never know and its the simple ones that will shit you...

Sorry forgot to say The carbs above are from my Suzuki RG250 Smoker..... 47hp......

a lot of bikes suffer from this bogging and can be rectified with tuning. Its hard to tell though, if we don't know the state you keep your bike in. If your filter is cheap shit or you let it get clogged that could be the problem. If your running a plug that is way off ideal as well that could be a factor. Check those two simple things first. An ideal plug for the 125 is the NGK CR9HRC, there are others but this is a safe choice. If your still suffering from this bogging we'll look at your air/fuel screw and pilot jet.

That NGK I posted should be a sound choice for any of these 125 motors.

CR7HRC for 50-70cc
CR8HRC for 90-110cc
CR9HRC for 125-?cc

I'll clean air filter, Buy new NGK plug check CARBY and then i'll see what happens..The thing is once it is warmed up it goes good but if u jerk the throttle it will die sometimes

Is it a real Thumpstar?

The chinese copy of a thumpstar i had done this. I had to leave it warm up for 20 minutes, then it was ok. If i yank the throttle back to quickly, my bike will try and rev, but just plop back to the normal rev as it can't get air in fast enough.

The best thing to do is, but a NGK spark plug. They are very cheap.
Take off the air filter and start the bike and see if it works then. (Don't do it where something can be sucked into the engine.
Clean and jet the filter. If it comes to this, im shore one of us can give you a tutorial on how to do this.

I wouldn't advise taking it to a shop as they will charge you ALOT!
Your better of learning how to fix these bikes yourself as the parts are cheaper then the labour at the mechanics.

Sorry fella's I gave bad info here...

CR6HSA
CR7HSA
CR8HSA

These are def right cause I actually looked at them in my shed...

hey i did every thing you's told me its way better now thanks..

We always use the NGK C7HSA same as above without a resistor..

No problem to date...

My other mechanic that works for another Importer uses the same again no problem...A very failsafe Cheep option $3.60 for a plug
