thumpster problem

hey guys and girls my fuel cap on my thumpster is stuck on i twist it and twist it but it just spins around and stays in the same position
ive tried hitting it with a hammer usibk stuff to wedge it up can any of use tell me how to get it off much appreciated thnx

I think you've stuffed the thread on the fuel tank.. Maybe not, just my thoughts.

find a nice looking wedge off some sort, and put it between the tank and lid and leaver up... it sounds like the thread has gone!

yeah I second that, sounds like you've got the old weld up fuel tank.

This is a common problem on thumpstars, you might want to get a new fuel tank with a plastic cap next time aswell since they wont damage the thread.
