Hey, has anyone adjusted their timming, I checked tdc marks on the flywheel, then using a timming light checked the timming, very close to the mark. But the factory settings of any motor are generally on the retarded side for variances in petrol and production tolerances. Got busy and advanced it by filing the key, calculated i advanced it by 4 degrees. Only test run in the driveway at night, but it seemed to have more torque and a crisper throttle response. Have i done the right thing? Has anybody else done this and found it to be a bad idea?

lol haha one of my mates was having trouble with his valves so him and a mate took the head off looked around and put it back on but the head didnt have a make on it for the timming chain so they put if back on and no s**t the bike ended up with a limiter at about 3 and a half grand.. crap for riding but funny as hell =D
