just out of curiosity does anyone have or ridden a ttr 125 yamaha and if so what can u tell me about it?? power, suspension, reliabilty etc..

Yeh my friend has one, if your thinking about using it as a pit bike.. i don't know!

his was stock. front forks were a bit dodgey they botomed out a bit. the back shock was alright for a ttr and did the job.

ya can put the yz85 forks on a ttr125 with some spacers and a few other things. There is a how to at www.planetminis.com



Also mabye a fmf pipe would go good on it and take away the stock look.. alright bike with the yz forks and the exaust. not sure if you can get a bore kit for them but they go ok for a 125. The clutches are pretty good you have to let them rightout to go for example pitt bike you let it out a little and it starts going..

hrmmm... maybe a yz 85 might be the go.. more performance for less money

go the 85, just be prepered to spend money on parts for a rebuild every now n then. If you can do it urself its cheap as.

personaly i dont like ttr 125 their soooo slow and the stock suspention is crap would be OK with yz85 front end though

the yz is a race bike though, more maintenance, and r u gonna race it??
if u r get a KTM

im proabably gonna get a ttr125, hopefully 4 mi b'day, they offered a good deal if we get dad's R1 and the ttr125 at the same time
