On my thumpstar it has a yellow shock, i finally took the pastics off (wasn't that hard lol) i sat on it and the coil thing is tight as it can go. I noticed that i could botom the shock out when i did a fairly small jump. On the top of the shocky there is a valve where u put air or something in? should i shoot some air in that???? would that stiffen it up a bit or something? thanks..

Putting air in one of those shocks won't do much. You see that shock was garbage when they made those bikes. Do yourself a favour and buy yurself a decent US built shock and be able to hit any jump. Give Boxy a call for all that info,

Yeah tho's were the first batch of shocks.. Simply junk.. I took mine of and replaced it within the first week.. I did however stiffen my mate one up for him... Dumped the oil, put new oil in 5w shock oil, pumped the thing upto 200psi and it was a darn sight better than stock. My mate rode around on it for better part of 8months before he ended up getting the newer thumpstar shock for $80, which looks like a ishock copy, its not a great shock either i rekon but its alot stiffer...
