OK so I've changed heaps of tubes since I own a china but I picked up an atomik a month ago, blew the tyres but when i try to change them there is absolutely no give whatsoever. I mean I'm bending screwdrivers and still can't pull the Tyre over the rim? They are old, could have they just dried out or tightened from UV or time? Gonna get my bro to put them on a Tyre machine but should I just change them for some new ones? They are carslbad's

i find kenda tyers real hard to pot on anyhow!
small bites key try to. Too much at one time n go's hard

Check there isnt any of the tube under the bead somewere on the tyre, and if the previous person who changed the tyres put way to much tape over the spoke ends the tyre bead cant pull into the rim centre enough to budge.

^^^ thats good point too
if haveing trouble poting last part of tyer on!! Check to se if tyer off beed and into dish of rim on opersite side ,like diagianel from where workn poting last bit on.

haha hope made sence
made sence in my head lol.

Like I said I've changed plenty of tubes, I can't even get two levers in its that tight. Would the rubber shrink/deteriorate?

weve had a few like that at work and could only manage one tyre lever and then had to cut the bead with a grinder.
