well my assumption is that its a crank case breather :D hahahaha.. nah more for bling effect than anything else, i would say the canister would hold any overflowed oil and redirect it into the motor somehow but god knows where because their are 2 pipes coming from that and another valve on the other end of the canister so your guess is as good as mine mate. i think Dabomb has something like this on his ride so ask him, he may know.

Cheers, Tony.

thats your stock standard head breather, their pretty much all the same, only variations are colour, tubing etc... so that one would do fine, heck if you really wanted to you could go home made and use a screw in valve and a section of garden hose. the nice green adds a bit of bling to any ride :D. haha

Cheers, Tony.

im pretty sure the canister thing is just lik a catch can on a car its got a pcv valve wich allows pressure to ecape but not any oil and if it does it just goes to the can and after the can its suspose to go to the carby. wich makes the carby lean under certain conditions and certain loads. but it wouldnt hav much affect on a pit bike coz i rekon they wouldn cause enough vaccum for this to work.. correct me if im rong

why would it transfer any oil to the carby?? these are 4 strokes, thats the last place you want oil to go.... i would say one end would be a replacment for your dipstick and the other would be for your crank breather with the valve for air pressure build up, this would be the only logical way to fit something even remotly like this. would be interesting to hear from someone running one or have seen one to know what the go is though.

Cheers, Tony.

It tells you in the description what it does. Its a catch can. when riding or racing on pavement you MUST have one or they won't let you race. It catches any excess oil pumped out the breather hose and holds it in the tank for drainage later in the pits. It DOESN'T transfer it into the carby, THAT would be dumb. They make these things have a few hoses go in so you can put all vent hoses in to them so NO fluids lek onto the track causing traction problems.
