hey just a quick one.
should the valves be open just a a lil bit at the same time.
or should one be open more then the other at the point when the cam isnt completly flat, is u know what i mean.
Yes there is a period when both valves are open. This is called the overlap. Racing cams have increased overlap and this is one of the things to be checked when installing bigger valves and big overlap cams. Should try to always run about 40 thou clearance between the valves at closest point. Handy for some trivia for others....
