how they used to ride some of those things has got me stuffed

good stuff man the vintage races are good fun

one of the local vintage mx clubs is thinking of inviteing us miniriders to join em one day might be a bit of fun

yeah that does sound like fun....lolz they may get a bit upset with some mini's beating their dinosaurs

mate, that's awesome!!! would have loved to see that Maico Mega2 490, Triumph Metisse and CR Red Devil in action...
There's some beautiful machines there...
it's a shame the bikes we have today, wont last long enough to become "Vintage" era bikes...

yeah, its funny because when i was looking at all the bikes it near brought a tear to my eye. seeing all the same model bikes that iv owned from 1978 and up and also knowing most of my old bikes are worth more than my 2005 wrf450..
1 bike i didnt see tho which i was looking for cause i had 1 was a 1979 yz400..

yeah it was painfull watching the dudes jump those old pre 75 maico's..

oh also if you have looked thru the pics long enough youll see 2 dude standing there, thats my bro and his mate with freshly signed glen bell shirts. they were as happy as a pig in sht..and im pretty sure that is glen standing behind the 480r in the first pic...it was his mates bike he was racing....

also im pretty sure someone said to me the other day that Reed is doin a bit of vintage MX as well now...not sure if thats true tho

Does Belly still have the biggest man ****s in the history of MX?? I swear that dude had implants.. ha ha..

My next door neighbour doesnt race, but his passion is buying basket case vintage mxers, and restoring them... The speed this dude works is amazing, and the bikes come out looking like new... all euros too, bultaco's, maicos, huskies, few KTM's.... I'll have to see if he'll let me take some photos and i'll post em up, they really are works of art...
He's got a maico 490 bout halfway built, and i've found out he's got a KTM 500AE in boxes... (500cc two stroke mxer with AUTO gearbox...)
I'll see if i can steal some vids from him too, he has one of the biggest powerwheelies i've seen, on a Bultaco 360 Alpina Trials bike... Epic...

it was crazy to see the old sidecars going over some of those jumps, looked pretty sketchy haha

i take it you were there.... yeah those side carts were off tap...wouldnt catch me swinging for any of them..

and lol yeah bell still looks the same...
