Voltage advice Z50

I have a z50 with lights and blinkers i want to put a lifan 140cc in it, will this affect my power through the bike to lights and blinkers and if so what do i do,Or can i get the same power out of my z50 motor[no cdi] what would it cost please help i want it to fly.

The 140, depending on the supplier, should come with a 12V regulator/rectifier. You just have to wire it in correctly with any other thing you want to hook up, and thats it. The motor has the necessary wires in place for a full 12V system. You just have to solder or plug the motor into your loom. These engines are basically a scooter motor so are designed to run accessories.

the older Z's were a 6v system as well.

Yeah you will have to make sure to convert all globes etc to 12v on any bike that was originally 6v.
