hey guys
me and my mate just bought dhz's
and are goignt to make a ramp this week.
he lives on 100 acres and we have this massive mound of dirt , (used to be a landing for a 20ft fmx kicker) so its going to do the trick for a downie for us.
were probably gunna use wood.
will wood be good enough? like strenth?
how much do you rekon it will cost for materials?
i think were gunna make it about 6ft high (we want it to spring you up a fair bit) and about 6-8ft long and about 3-4ft wide.

any suggestions?

thanks

to put Ply on it, it will cost around $100 just for the surface. You could scab the support wood from a lot of places.

yeh my pop builds cubby houses and dogg kennals and he doesnt paya sent for all the wood he gets just go to places and ask what there doin with there left overs off cuts etc etc and u will be suprised what they throw away

yeah .lol
im just gunna go to building sites over the next few nights
i used to always go through them.
ill be able to get ply from the sites easy as.
and all the other timber should be there aswell.

and ideas on how i should build it?
thanks

use plenty of centre supports and you could even use particle board to get the side curves right as long as you reinforce it
