Hey all,

I have been looking and reading a lot about the 250cc sized bikes for sale on ebay, I live on 5 Acres and would like a bike to putt around on. I will not be doing any fire trails or such so I have budgeted around the 1200 dollar mark.
I like the new G4 Hummer, because of its frame and motor upgrades, but am put off on the size of the 3L fuel tank (has anyone upgrade?) but I see all the china bikes have this sized tank. I know buying one of these bikes is not going to be like getting a honda but I am willing to do a bit of work on it to get it a bit more reliable (new chain, tyres etc)

Can anyone give (positive) feedback on this bike or suggest another?

Regards

Paul.

mate i would stay away from the full size chinnys there bad news allover

get ya self a mid size pitty much more fun and a way better bike

look at pitpro range 140xr should suit you and a top lil bike at that

I have read a few good things on them, I am only going to be going around a paddock, not any off road or jumps. I am 6 foot 2 and am around 90kg, I don't think a smaller bike would do at all.

Regards

Paul.

mate im 90kg and so is snitchy and these small bikes a fine wit our weight and i jump a lil and so does snitchy and they are alot of fun

What do you guys think about the 2008 250cc pitpro bike?

Regards

Paul.

we have had 160 kilo on a dhz d-pro and it done well! and it would have been no where near as steardy as a pp 140xr... when snitch says there a good little bike he means it!

Thanks for the advice guys but I think it will too small for me, not saying I wouldn't fit, but I just don't want a smallish bike.

Regards

Paul.

but me thinks you'll be hard pressed to find anymembers here who recon the full size are any good

i seen a orien 250 the other day in person... shocked me how small they r hay, for a full size bike i mean.... like a normal 125 is way bigger then that
