I'm thinking about getting a genuine Mikuni vm26 shipped from USA for my 140. I've heard great things about that carb.

The original VM is a great carb...ignore the haters, which believe more in Ebay advertising than experience!!:p

...almost everybody on the Podium in Vegas2007 was with this carb !!!

Only you can jet it. At is near impossible to tell you what to try unless you do your own testing and report back step by step your findings then ask for recommendation which way to go.

confusion

if i ask what to do 10 people will tell me ten different things and i wont make heads or tales out of it from past experience???

get a flatside but not 28mm, that is to suit 85cc 2 strokes etc get the flatside in a 24mm

24mm

ive got one but i want top end power and that only good for take of and tight dirt riding tracks i got a monkey bike with a 140cc lifan...

Mack is right, you need to just put the carby on and kill the engine at WOT read the spark plug if its running lean go up a jet and do it again if its running rich go down a jet and do it again. After a few runs you will get the best one for your set up. If you do not have the time or skills to do it yourself you need to get it to a shop that can do it for you.
