Wat to torque 155z head to mean Wat lbs

I'm doing the first service on my dhz160 dpro wAt do I need to do an wat do I torque the head to meaning how many foot lbs

Mate on my own personal motors(155z and yx 150) with steel headgaskets i go with 27 newtons.
newton meter [N*m]: 27
foot-pound [ft*lbf]: 19.91(20)

I dont know what the exact is from the manufacturer is but i have stripped a head stem in the crankcase at 32 newtons(accidently set it to 45 newtons by adjusting the torque wrench to 32 ft*lbf), i do 27 newtons all the time on my and customers bikes and have never had a prob. Just my opinion mate and hopefully others can speculate on there settings.

Actually just read that 14 foot*lbs is what they should be which is 19-20 newtons, the only reason i do 27 is because i check the tension on new yx and 155z and they are torqued on average at that setting.

klx head = 16 ft/lbs

Also tested new engines and they were alot more, in the 30Nm range. but they say 16ft/lbs is for a klx head

I'm glad you could verify my findings on some manufacturers torque settings mate, I feel better now, I think I will be torqueing my engines at around 25 Newtons instead of 27. Meet China halfway lol

Mate how can I tell if its a steel gasket or not

A steel gasket is just a thin metal gasket, the others have a sort of cardboardish look to them with red sealant lines for helping give a good seal and a silver ring around the centre for the combustion chamber

Can u tell the difference when it all to gather or not do I have to pull the head off to find out before I re torque it

If its a 155 bro it is a steel gasket for sure mate.
