waterproofing tips

any tips on waterproofing our bikes. im going for a ride in the rain and mud (woohoo) and thought we could share tips on keeping them going good in the wet.

i`ve taped up all wires and such but any other tips?

are they prone the getting wet air filters?

silicone around the wires coming out your magneto cover, around your spark plug cap. and oil up your air filter.
