wats the advantage on taper bars?

hey guys and girls, im new to the forum and pit bikes, i just brought 1 today, people are telling me to get taper handlebars, what is the advantage??? or any info on them would help me out alot.

first crash you have you will bend your bars in half! , so you should get a set of (PRO TAPERS) for like $70 dollers or so , and you will never break them! and they feel much better then the standard ones..

there genuine ones , you can get cheaper then that if you look around.
